The sun settled slightly
Setting suddenly without warning
Oblivious to your cause!
Darkness floods the scene
The stars and moonlight
Can't help but wonder who the hell you are!


A cold rain joins your empty thoughts
The pitter patter droning on
Splish spalsh splish splash
The Silence broken with a words
The lights come on
Everything stood still

Attention goes to center stage
The sirens...
They remind you not breathe!
Staring away
The empty spaces now quite filled



Couldn't this happen some other day?
It gets so cold
A feeling alien to the touch
Why can't it be tommorow?
Why weren't you prepared!

They told you this day would come.

The coats prepared you best they could
But looking back on it now
